Wishlist | Summer Jackets

For some reason, I always struggle to find good jackets. Coats I don’t have a problem with and I could spend a fortune on knitwear, but I can never find the perfect jacket. My go to jacket is embarrassingly still my sequin biker jacket which I have owned since I was 16 (kudos to me for still fitting in that!). Because of this, I have been looking at some of this seasons on-trend jacket styles to see which I most prefer. Here are my favourites…

I wouldn’t usually associate biker jackets with summer, but in these beautiful pastel shades they are amazing. I am very fussy with a biker jacket. I find a lot of them are too stiff and not very comfortable and I much prefer the buttery leather ones which I definitely can’t afford! Out of these I think my favourite is the River Island suede number. Looks gorgeous and not too think for summer.

Bomber Jackets

Bomber jackets are everywhere and I am somewhat conflicted. Although some of them look lovely, the more bulky ones would not compliment my shape! This Zara organza jacket is my favourite by a long way. The patterned ones are gorgeous but my outfits underneath are usually very pattern-y and I’m not sure I can mix patterns this much!

Lightweight Coats

As the owner of too many parkas, a lightweight coat is the way I usually go. Although this is the safer option, I think these picks are really nice for summer (and also weather friendly!). My favourite is this light pink parka from Topshop. A lovely summer colour and a great style!

My Conclusion: I need to get myself to Zara! So many amazing styles on their website and not too pricey!
